Chelsea Matiash, Jeffrey Furticella – The New York Times

Chelsea Morgan Matiash and Jeffrey Edward Furticella were married June 2 at Berg’n, an events space in Brooklyn. Olivier Laurent, who became a Universal Life minister for the occasion, officiated.

The bride, 30, and the groom, 33, work at The New York Times in Manhattan. She is a senior editor for digital storytelling and training on the digital transition team; he is a picture editor for the metro desk.

The bride graduated magna cum laude from the University of Miami.

She is a daughter of Patricia L. Margalotti of Sparta, N.J., and the late Oleg R. Matiash. She is a stepdaughter of David M. Margalotti.

The groom graduated from Ball State University in Muncie, Ind.

He is the son of Marilyn Furticella and Edward J. Furticella of Naples, Fla.
